HEALTH COVERAGE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES GRANTS TO HELP UNINSURED

The HCF's first grant of $100,000 was announced in December of 2008 to the Community of Hope in Washington to provide over 1,700 visits to low income patients and to expand mental health services.
The Foundation also approved a grant of $10,000 to the Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matara to help the nuns in their Washington, DC area convents retain private health plan coverage.
